Poems

Crazy, stupid love

Crazy or not you’re mine,
by God’s perfect design,
falling in and out of love with you.
Boy you make me mad,
but you’re the best I’ve had,
our love is crazy but it’s perfect too.

So read me to sleep,
and kiss me on the cheek,
and hold my hand when we walk through the mall.
Press your lips to mine,
and boy I think you’ll find,
It might be easier if we just fall

SILENCE

Silence could have saved me
Silece could have saved the day
Because if both of us are silent
Neither one must walk away

Words are just loud noises
That we make out of fear
And if both of us are silent
Than us two can just stay here

Talking is overated
Words no one can stand to hear
But if both of us are silent
Neither one must go nowhere

The truth is ugly, and lies are warm
A silent shelter from the storm
